Over the past decade, more employers have workforces outside a traditional corporate office. Since 2019, this shift has increased considerably as more and more employees have transitioned to a work-from-home model. For employers with a significantly distributed workforce, a standard onsite health center would be of little benefit to most of their employees.
Many vendors, including Marathon Health, offer different models of care depending on the workforce makeup of the client. Commonly, we see employers choose a “hybrid” approach which includes either an onsite health center or access to a Network coupled with virtual advanced primary care to improve access to care for employees and their dependents.
